Dear Dr. Lammerting, I would like to congratulate you on your garden book prize in the guide for your book " elegance in bedding " . This book, I reviewed some time ago. Today I would like this, ask some questions.

Helga King : What prompted you to deal so extensively with noble colors of the garden? Which clients have you in the eye?

Dr. Kristin Lammerting
Dr. Kristin Lammerting : a) Because I was fascinated by the colors in the garden since long and I'm experimenting with it. Some photos are so out of my garden. In English gardens, I have in the past year 8 weeks including visits Chelsea Flower Show, these three colors are all the rage. Previously it was pink, white and light blue and now it's elegant.
b) Every garden aesthetes! Whether beginner or an experienced garden designer. When it comes to elegance, beauty, a general feeling of life, just style. It has something to do with good taste. For gardeners who want to try something new and are open to innovative trends.


Helga King: Can we usher in the satisfaction of white and silvery plants in the spring garden?

Dr. Kristin Lammerting : Gold / Gold is the sun and life force and in the garden is often hesitant used to tell me how the perennial garden. This should change. I think gold is a very vital garden color and much more can and should be used. Maybe my book will help instead of simple to see the garden yellow-gold.


Helga King: I have a bit of a problem with black flowers. Can you explain why black tulips are so popular recently?

Dr. Lammerting : This has been a long time already a well established trend. More elegance does not work! The Mystical, Unusual is very appealing. In my childhood, only mourners wore black. Helga King : Your shown "Black Iris" are naturally beautiful. How can they be used effectively in the garden without making a gloomy atmosphere?

Dr. Kristin Lammerting : Black with light green is a wonderful combination, but need not be. I've got a very black garden, find my visitors especially attractive.


Helga King : What Colors do you recommend to the psyche of depressed people who are in the gardens might, too, to take into account?
